Vi hade ju ett årsmöte den 24/3 som var ett mycket bra och givande möte. Vi hade haft 8 föreläsningar rund om i Sverige under förra året. Vidare hade vi 2 medlemsträffar med olika teman . Under förra året så skickade vi till 3 projekt och det var till Big Mountain, Elena projektet och till CACY, Community Action for Children and Youth (se under rubriken ”medlemskap”). Detta ska vi fortsätta med även under år 2007. Vi har skickat 20 000 kr under året vilket vi tycker är ett ganska bra resultat för året. Vi har under året legat lite lågt med att utöka vår verksamhet, dels för att inte ta på oss för mycket jobb, och dels för att jobb och studier har tagit ganska mycket tid. Vi hoppas att fler medlemmar kan bli mer aktiva. I Oktober 2006 hade vi en Globalfest i samband Internationella Solidaritetsdagen. Ett 20-tal artister ställde upp kvällen till ära, bl.a. Janne Schaffer, Jan Hammarlund, Buffalo Dancers, Fane och Ted. Ett stort tack till alla artister, Skyways, Hotel Continental, Scandic Hotel och alla medarbetare som ställde upp!! Överskottet sändes till CACY. Vår revisor Mats Himmelvid gav styrelsen ansvarsfrihet. SvIF:s överskott går naturligtvis till våra projekt. We had a annual meeting a while ago, which was a very giving meeting. During year 2006, we have had 8 lectures in Sweden. We have also had 2 membersunions with different themes. We have also sent money to our three projects Big Mountain, Elena and to CACY, Community Action for Children and Youth (more information under the ”Membership”-button.) The members of our assoiciation had together gathered 20 000 SEK to Elena Big Mountain and CACY. We will contiune with this during year 2007. In October 2006, we had a charityconcert in Halmstad, in connection with the International Day of Solidarity. About 20 preformers made the evening a unforgetable one. Amongst those preformers that where there you’ll find: Janne Schaffer, Jan Hammarlund, Buffalo Dancers, Fane and Ted. We send a huge Thank You to all preformers, Skyways, Contineltal Hotels, Scandic Hotels and all co-workers that made the concert happend!! All surplus where sent to CACY. SAIA have lain low during the year because of work and studies for the committee, and we didn’t want to put too much work on the schedule. We hope that more members could be more active. The counseler Mats himmelvid have granted discharge for the committee. |
