CACY är en organisation som finns i  Tuba City, en stad i Navajo Indian Reservation, Arizona, USA. Denna organisation arbetar för indianska ungdomar ska få en djupare kontakt med sin kultur och att de får ett bra kvalitativt liv med utbildning och aktiviteter samt att de ska känna sig delaktiga i samhället och inte bara titta på eller blida gäng.

CACY arbetar mot våld, självmordstankar, gängbildningar och användande av droger och alkohol. Grundaren Vanessa Brown, informerar i skolor om ungdomsbrottslighet och tonårsgraviditeter, hur man kan förebygga detta.

Hon lär även ungdomarna att ta ansvar genom att arrangera kommunala dagsverken där dem får hjälpa familjer som är i behov av hjälp. Vanessa hjälper via CACY även hemlösa och fattiga med soppkök, härbärgen och klädinsamlingar.

Det finns ca 3 000 skolbarn som är i behov av ekonomiskt stöd för att klara av att gå i skolan. För 250 kr/månaden eller 3 000 kr/året kan du stödja ett barn i grundskolan med allt material som barnet behöver.

20% av bidraget går till CACY för administrationskostnader.

CACY is an organization located on the Navajo Indian Reservation, Arizona, USA. This organization’s mission is to bring the youths a deeper knowledge and connection about their culture, and to ensure a life with quality, with education, activities and to be involved in the society.

 

CACAY is working against violence, gang organizations, youth criminality, suicidal thoughts and abuse of drugs and alcohol. The organization teches the youths how to stay focus and out of the streets. CACY also teaches the youths to take responsibility in thier community through  arranging working days, where they are helping families in need.

CACY is also involved with shelters, soupkitchen and collecting clothes for those families that is in need of help of this kind.

There are about 3 000 children who needs economical support, so that they can get education at school. For 250 SEK/ month or 3 000 SEK/ year you can help a child with all the educational support the child needs.

20% of your support will be divided to CACY’s administration .
